Welcome to Crich Medical Practice

This website is provided to introduce you to our Practice. We cover a wide area and in order to be more easily accessible to patients we have branch Surgeries at Holloway and South Wingfield as well as our main surgery at Crich. Branch surgeries are dispensing and patients living in these rural village areas will be able to obtain their prescribed medications from those premises. You may attend whichever of these surgeries is most convenient to your need, however, it helps us to work more efficiently if you can attend the same one wherever possible.

During holiday periods when we have fewer Doctors to cover surgeries, it may be that some clinics at Branch Surgeries will be cancelled, or surgery times may vary slightly. At such times the telephone will be diverted to the Crich Surgery.

The doctors work in partnership and they all provide general medical care, maternity, contraceptive advice, minor surgery, health promotion and child health surveillance services.

Serious injuries ie suspected fracture, concussion etc should be dealt with at the Accident & Emergency dept at either Calow or The Royal Derby Hospital.   Minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, minor lacerations etc can be seen at either Whitworth or Ripley Hospital. .
