Practice Nurse Surgeries

examining_throatOur Practice Nurses, Sue Paul, Jane Clarke and Alison Draffan are responsible for all aspects of health promotion, holiday vaccinations, dressings, routine chronic disease management. We also have a Healthcare Assistant, Marion Waite, who is responsible for some aspect of patient care ie BP checks, Phlebotomy and new patient checks.

Clinics are held at each of our surgeries.

If you are a housebound patient - a home visit can be arranged for you.

Phlebotomy Clinics

The District Nursing Team run a clinic every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday morning. This service is available to any patient who needs blood taking and appointments can be made by ringing 01773 852966. Where appropriate please obtain a form from your GP before attending the clinic.

OUT OF HOURS

If you require urgent medical attention when the Surgery is closed, you should dial 111. This will connect you to the NHS 111 service free of charge which is provided by a local organisation: Derbyshire Health United. You will be assessed and directed to the most appropriate point of care for your particular needs.

You can also dial 111 if you require health information.

Appointments

Please contact the surgery you normally attend. Urgent appointments will be seen the same day but not always by your usual doctor

 

Test Results

When requesting results, please ring after 2.00pm to Crich or after 11.00am to the branches, when the receptionists are less busy.
